The Horseware® LED Red Light Therapy Hock Boots can be used for post-exercise recovery and may be beneficial for horses with stiff or sore hocks. 112 LEDs use a combination of different light wavelengths to target both the dermal layer and deep tissues. 660nm red light targets the surface, while 850nm infrared penetrates deeper to reach soft tissue. LED treatment has been shown to increase blood flow and promote cellular activity, which may reduce inflammation, may aid skin conditions, and may speed up post-operative or accelerate wound healing.
