The Loose Ring has loose rings that move freely through the mouthpiece. Because of this, rein aids are conveyed less directly than when the rings are attached to the mouthpiece. To prevent skin from getting pinched between the moving rings, it is advised to use rubber bit rings.
The Cherry Roller mouthpiece consists of a single-jointed mouthpiece with loose rollers on both sides. These rollers discourage the horse from grasping the bit or from taking
hold of it.
