The Full Cheek has two vertical rods on a fixed ring. These straight bars(toggles) provide more side pressure (against the cheek), making steering easier. The ring of the Full Cheek is smaller than that of the D-shaped bit with less leverage effect as a result. The upper toggles of the TRUST Full Cheek are slightly curved outwards so that they do not get stuck under the noseband.
The Medium Port is a straight mouthpiece with a medium port. The port offers more space for the tongue and reduces the pressure on the middle of the horse’s tongue.
