A 3 ring cheekpiece, also called Pessoa, is a cheekpiece with a leverage effect. The lower the reins are placed, the more impact the bit will have. The pressure point lies on the poll, just behind the ears.
The Slow Twist mouthpiece is single-jointed with twisted iron on both sides. Because of the twist, this mouthpiece has a sharper edge and therefore a sharper effect on the layers than a normal single-jointed mouthpiece. This mouthpiece is not suitable for sensitive horses or inexperienced riders.
