The Eggbutt cheekpiece to be the most simple and common. The rings do not move up and down, resulting in a more stable position in the mouth and more direct rein aids. The lips don’t get pinched by this cheekpiece, so bit rings are not necessary.
The Inno Sense Port Medium is made of elastic plastic, harder than the Flexi Soft. The Inno Sense Port Medium is slightly flexible. This mouthpiece has a tongue arch which provides less pressure on the center of the horse’s tongue. More tongue freedom is ideal for horses that have a sensitive tongue or horses that stick out their tongue.
