Loose ring bits are the simplest in terms of action from the rider but also in the horse's mouth. The large loose rings offer a better direction control. Leather Jump'In bits are very soft and comfortable for horses.
The mouth piece is covered with leather to prevent a cold contact in the horse's mouth and to offer more comfort.
Rinse the bit after each use to prevent any residue buildup. Oil the leather with a vegetable oil (do not use neatsfoot oil or other any synthetic oil) to keep a soft and nice contact for your horse.
